Governor in Council may prohibit exportation by Procla mation.

4. (1) The Governor in Council may, by proclamatior

published in the Jazette, prohibit for a period in such

proclamation to be mentioned the exportation from the

Colony, either absolutely, or to any country, territory

or place without the Colony or may permit exortation or

removal subject to such conditions, limitations or

restrictions as he deems necessary in such proclamation to

be specified, or the removal from place to place in the

Colony, of all or any of the following articles:-

(a) arus, kuns, explosives or any specified cless of

explosives or naval or military stores; or

(b) articles which, in the opinion of the Governor in

Council, are capable of being converted into

arme, guns, explosives or any specified cless of

explosives or navel or military stores, or of

being unde useful for manufacturing any of the

said articles;

(c) provisions or any sort of victuals which may be used

As food for man.

.

"Export", with its grazmatical variations and cognate

expressions, means to take or cause to be taken out

of the Colony, either by land or ass.
